I see alot of posts around the internet with people thinking adbrite is better than any other service out there, that's fine as it's there opinions!

But is adbrite like all the other services, you list there adverts on your site and every time there's a click you get money or is it were you pop your link there under banner ads ect..

I don't like google adsense I won't use it, I want to try this with adbrite, is it possible? I've always thought it's a banner hosting website for people who want to buy and sell banner space. Am I right?

    Regards,

AdBrite is pretty similar to the other PPC providers apart from you can set the price of ads directly purchased on your site.

There are 3 types of ad available:
    - Interstitial ads: These are small drop down ads that invite your visitor to go to another site. You get paid for every click.
    - In line ads: A brand new format, still in beta testing really. Certain words appear underlined in your content and when a visitor moves their mouse over the words a small pop-up appears with an advert. Again, payment is per click. Only work with the IE browser at the moment.
    - Conventional ad units: Just like AdSense really but pay less per click. Not contextual (don't necessarily match the content of your page). You can also advertise space on these ad units in the AdBrite directory and people can choose to buy a slot directly. Ad slots which aren't directly purchased usually display automatic network ads.

Most people choose to use the conventional ad units with network ads - these look and operate in very similar fashion to AdSense. You can use a combination of all 3 ad formats. There isn't a banner ad option or any sort of banner hosting in AdBrite.

Payment is by check. The rate per click is usually less than AdSense, but it is still reasonable compared to other PPCs (nearly all clicks pay something). Unlike AdSense they'll accept all types of site and aren't too concerned about what your content is like.

A good alternative to AdSense, but expect less payment per click so it will take longer to reach the pay out level.

Interstitial ads are pay per view (kinda like a pop under)
In line ads do work with firefox.i can see them on my site with firefox.
they may have said that it only works with IE because of some reason.

adbrite is ppc, just like adsense, but there is also cpm banner ads.
