i made a blog of something that I seen on tv a few days ago and I want to promote it on youtube by making a video. I see that theres literally tons of other videos on youtube talking about the same topic but not about the same thing. If I post my video, wheres it going to appear at? I want my video to get viewed left and right. How do I get my video to appear on the front page and at the very top? I want to ask the same thing about Social Bookmarking Sites such as digg, yahoo, stumble upon, etc. If I post an article in a certain category, how do I make it appear on top and 1st page? plus, can someone please explain to me, for ex. plenty of fish appears on the 2nd page when you type in online dating on google. If many more people have the same idea, how are you going to stay on the 1st or 2nd page. it would really help, if someone cleared this up.
For youtube, how it is found depends a lot on your description and the tags you submit with it. Also, if you throw some links from other sites toward it, that will help.
it's not really something you can manipulate, just try to put in the keywords and get views. thats about all you can do
I think you need to learn more things specially on basic marketing that would make things easier for you. Well then, good luck!
I think you should start educating yourself on marketing in general. then start implementing avenue of traffic such as twitter, youtube, digg, article writing " 1 a day" , fliers off line, etc. Then find out which ones you like doing most and just master them, by doing something each day in order for you be be success! So if you want to do youtube...then start putting 1 video a day or even a week. Then see the result and capitalize from there!
hurm its kind hard for you to make it just pop on the front page it will be on front page if someone is watching ur vthe videoideo make sure that u have a right title for the video
hahah if only it were that easy..., I once for a video featured on youtube with a home made DIY video.., the trick back then was to get tons of people to favorite your video...its not about the views, comments or rating but about how many people favorite it from what I observed...worked though, got 1.4 million hits
Once you create a video I suggest you submit it to a site called Tubemogul.com. It's free to create an account. This website allows you to submit your video to several different video sites (YouTube being one of them). Make the title of your video the exact keyword you are targeting and that will give you the best chance of your video showing up on the search engines. As for the social bookmarking question...I use Socialmarker.com. It allows you to submit your article to all the major social media sites (digg, reddit, etc.). This site is also free to use.
