I am getting backlinks from a website that i have never heard of, and it is totally irrelevant to what my site content is.

and the tricky thing is that i dont see a link back to my site on their page. How is this happening??

    for example

my website is a mercedes benz website, thats in my signature

and i get links from http://www.ouhrfwd.com/eves-apple.html

i cant even see my link anywhere

    thanks for the input

This has happened to me as well, but I will not complain about it because I'm getting some extra traffic

yeh, I checked the source code and theres no links to your site. I get this as well its pretty weird It may be they were using referrer spam and the google bot happened to stop by and you never noticed them in your stats????

Some sites post your link and ping if it is a blog. They get link on your site and take your link off. Some sites also put sites that are ranked well in some search engines on pages for a day or 2 to get listed with the terms they use.
