I want to make some flash for a website, I am good in Designing site content but I am newbie to flash so I cant handle professional softwares like Adobe Macromedia.
Is there any software which I can use to build my flash content quickly by just adding images and selecting animation templates etc.

    Thanks in advance.

    http://www.coffeecup.com/firestarter/

This is what it says on their site...
CoffeeCup Firestarter is the fastest and easiest way to make Flash effects for your Website. It quickly creates complex text and image effects with just a few clicks of the mouse. You can make Flash intro pages, navigation systems, graphic logos, or whatever you want !

Firestarter has more than 65 built-in, ready-to-use effects like assemble, explode, fade, and more, a collection of cool MP3 sounds, and an easy-to-use interface. No more struggling with expensive, complex software; with CoffeeCup Firestarter, you will be making really cool effects in a Flash!

But adobe flash is deffinitely probably the best especially for custom flash stuff. Good luck to you.

They definately have a demo version. Its very basic but good for starters. Adobe is way too complex to work if you are a noob

Swish for me very good. easy for me to create flash effect. i'm also create courseware using swish when i'm study before. but the weakness is. it too heavy to rendered it, and difficult to preview effect if your PC at the minimums performance. :)

Or you could buy a cheap image rotator that is xml based and easily add your own images via xml etc...I got 2 for sale in my protfolio site below, or you could check out Flashden where there are tons of them.

I am in need of the same thing and found on I think I may give a try - sounds pretty good. It's called Easy GIF Animator and the Pro version will make your animations into Flash. It's by blumentals.net

I think older versions of flash could be good for noobs I taught myself flash back when flash 3 came out I was in 6th grade then but even flash 4 or 5 are easy to use. The more features they added the harder it became to use. CS4 is easy to use but getting something to do exactly what you want can be hard when it doesnt do what you want.

Yes, thats a good Idea. What makes me crazy while trying to learn Flash CS3 is its complexity.

Check out A4DeskPro flash website builder, you can build a flash website with dropdown menus, fill in your own logo, content and images in just few minutes -- as easy as using MS-Word.

Different from other flash software, they use a fill-in-the blank approach for users so anyone can easily build a site without any coding and very little learning

If you want more functions, there are also flash photo gallery, video player, calendar etc, using similar method and can help you to create flash addons really quickly. download free trials here.

IF your newbie to flash than start with the toughest one Adobe Flash. Learn what's a movie, what's a timeline, frame and stuffs. Regarding animatiing frames learn about motion tween, shape tween etc. Then u'll get the general idea of what flash movies are. These are the basics that you can't miss.

After u learn that give ur try for Swish. Trust me you'll be playing with it for the rest of your project works from now on.
