1. think of a great idea, product or service that everyone wants or needs
2. get the funds, investment to start whatever it is your going to start
3. market, and promote promote promote

Yes.....
When money gets tight, people seem to be more careful with their expenditures......more folks will buy something to save money.......like a used car instead of a new one....
Discount products...things they really need....a lot less luxury items....
But they will still buy.......just have to find the right things...

Yes,in fact i just setup my branch company at other state now due to the cheap labour nowdays.

There are still people willing to buy if you have what they want.

I still am doing well with my main niches, celebrities and fetish. People are going to pay for whatever hits their fix. You simply have to find what they can't live without. I have some tutorials in my sig that will give you a broad overview of the niches if you want to get some ideas.

I agree that the environment is a bit tough and people think twice before any spending is done. It would be good to use such crisis as an advantage and motivate yourself to work harder!

After all... lot many inventions and discoveries were made under crisis and in extreme circumstances!

mt33 the recession brings opportunities as well as difficulties. There are people starting to buy online now for the first time, because they have less money and they are looking for ways to save money. A few years ago they were happy to buy from their local business / store, even if it meant paying more than what the product or service was being sold for on the Internet. This is an opportunity for certain types of online business.

Another opportunity arises from the fact that there are many people looking to set up businesses online or educate themselves online - people who have lost their jobs and who now need another source of income. These people are also spending more online and visiting more online advertisers.

I don't mean to suggest that it's easy, but there are opportunities.

That depends on your attitude. I am still making money because I have positive attitude, so just change your attitude and you will see opportunities. Sorry if it look too vague but people who understand are people making money. So don't give a fug about these small issues.

 

Yes. These days with this bad economic recession, will make much much less and have to work few times harder. Just look around at DP and you will see truckloads of sellers chasing after one buyer. Definitely a buyer's market with buyers asking for discounts and letting those loads of sellers compete amongst themselves. But hell, it sure beats working for some big suited boss where your job description includes polishing the bosses backside. It is a brave new world in online business where you have to work and think hard to survive but at least you are your own boss and maintain your dignity- and yes you only have to polish your own backside

You just need to be considerate. Lower down your price, provide some better package to offer.
Make sure that your service is affordable with your clients.

 

the recession is bad for internet maketers because many people started to use the internet as source of income because of the high unemployment and this means more competition

 

more internet users mean new sources of income, just try to innovate instead of competing
