I'm trying to compare but i think it's geo filter as i'm based in the UK.

If you want to check result in Google.com ( US ) . It's easy . Just go to this url : http://www.google.com/ncr . Good way i have using before.

I would recommend that you use a proxy in the future. Some tools will even find keywords based on different locations.

Chris, one of my good friends, actually just did a blog post about a service that allows you to do just that (although the tool can be slow to load if you pick a lot of options, from my experience) --

Or you can just install Google Toolbar and set it to use .com (US) as its default search.
