can someone help me now...... right now im bidding .80 cents per click and im getting like 7-10 clicks a day but i am making a profit every day. Im getting 1-2 leads which gives me $15-30$, and im spending like 5 bucks everyday. so each day im getting a profit of around 10-20 dollars. im trying to just let it run and eventually have google lower my bids (im bidding .80 max however my avg is .73 per click), am i on the right track? how do i get google to lower my avg cpc so i can pay like .60 cents per click and be on like the 1st, 2nd pages...im on the 4th page now, i would be on 2nd if that guy didint have so many ads. anyways am i on the right track? do i just let it roll and google will evenutallymove me upand lower my bids?

by the way this is with RINGTONES

    Hi, NCDE302,

No, do not just let it run and hope that Google lowers your bids and ups your ad's position. Your objective right now is to continually split-test your ads so as to increase your CTR. The more you increase your CTR, the more chance you will have of your ad's placement being moved up and your average CPC dropping down. Note that the ringtones market is extremely competitive, and split-testing alone will almost certainly not allow you to progress to Page 1. For that, you'll also have to up your bids.

    Hi, NCDE302,

Your campaign is still very young. As such, you cannot as of yet draw any conclusions. Keep testing different bids, ad positions, landing pages and offers until you find the winning formula. You will almost certainly lose a bit of money during the testing phase, but that's all a part of the game. Think of it as paying for research. Once you find a scheme that works, you'll make that money back, plus a profit on top.

Make sure to take note of every adjustment. That way, you can always put the campaign back to a previous, more favourable state.

try to expand your keyword net and find other profitable keywords with lower competition ...

the ad groups that work you should run test campaigns on Yahoo and MSN for starters ..
