Can someone help me with $$

OK where to start this, I don’t think I will find any help here, BUT I’m still going to try it, since I don’t really have a choice.

I want to start my own e-bussiness from home, I want to start my own store and stuff, since in Suriname there is still plenty of room to start these things and make $$.

To start everything I need US 2000 dollars.

I am really hoping that someone here, would want to borrow me that money that I could pay back in a period of 12 months with 10% extra.

I know you guys will say that I should go to a bank, BUT I can’t do that since the banks are asking me to have something that is also worth that money, so that they can get their money back if I can’t pay them back, BUT the fact is I don’t have something like that.

All I have is faith in myself for the fact that I will succeed in my bussiness, and to get it that far I need a push.

I will provide you every information you want about me.

    Please send me a PM.

PS...I hope you guys don’t think I’m insane...

    Yes you are crazy.

    1. Asking someone to lend money to the tune of $2,000 to a total stranger over the internet is like sending your bank account information to the estranged African Prince who emails you each day asking for it.

    2. Even if you could setup some kind of escrow account backed by PayPal or GOD Himself, most earners on this forum make 100% to 200% of every dollar they spend. At least I do @ 200%. So 10% would be shit in a bucket in return for MINUS $2,000 in cash flow.

I feel I have room to talk.

I would have never got where I am now if it wasn't for job cuts a few years back. I scraped by for 8 months, but made it to where I am today. Own company, new house, bigger income than most CEO's...not once did I ask for a hand out.

I guess you just struck a nerve...that's all.

BTW, I didn't start out with $2K. $8.95 and a free hosted site. Every dollar earned went back. It can be done, just not overnight.

most of that money I would have to invest in buying a PC (like $ 500) and getting internet at home (internet alone would cost me like $ 320 to install the ADSL and $ 55 monthly (12 x $ 55 =$ 670 p/yr).

I guess I won't find help this way, you guys will see me as a scam. I'm not asking to give me, I will pay it back.

    Thanks anyway.

not trying to cut you down - just some advice and feedback...

you say you'll pay back principal + 10% ? even with a solid plan, venture capitalists expect something like 300%-400%. i think your offer of 10% won't cut it... :(

Get a job, spend all your off time reading these forums, learning, and experimenting. If you don't have the drive to do it, you will never be successful at being self-employed.

It's unfortunate to have to go through such situations in life but just take it as honing of the character. Making a living, especially on the internet requires tenacious learning. If growing hungry at times will make one tenacious, then maybe it's just a learning phase in life that one has to go through. Make a plan about what you are going to do about your current situation and do everything it takes to get you there. Hitting your goals, even small ones, one step at a time really helps. So, let's see some action! I wish you luck!

Don't buy home DSL and a computer yet. Keep surfing the cafes and use librarys. Buy things when you have the money to.

If you don' know the general principles for running a business and earning money (don't overextend your credit unecessarily) than you'll have no chance of earning this amount of money back for the person who is foolish enough to lend it to you.

    Bust your balls.
    Start small, grow big.
    Don't lose faith.

I agree, love, life, friends, family ... those things can't be bought by cash. But money well spent does make life a lot easier.

    ishtar,

Do you have a regular job? Could you get a pc on credit? God knows there are times when I would have loved an angel to come and invest in me. J-K. Rowlings must be one of the richest women in the world today and she made it after borrowing money from a friend to fund her dreams - but there you go. She couldn't get credit at the bank but she got it from a friend. Not someone on the other side of the world on the merest hint of a plan.
