Can someone help me with the best software for keyword selection?

Which is the best software for keyword selection? I am starting some new small websites and would like to know about some affordable options. Please help.

Google is your friend. You can Google what you just asked and find many similar posts/threads and check there. Google also provides good keyword tools and they are good. IMHO, Google insights is good and to analyze keywords, you can use Google trends as well. There are many other paid software available too, I've tried a few but Google's tools beat the rest easily. If you are willing to work hard and work intelligently with Google's tools you would love them as they are far better than the few paid software I've used. This tool(http://tools.seobook.com/keyword-tools/seobook/) is also quite useful but you'd need to register to use it.

 

Try Google Adwords. There you will find lots of suggestion for Keywords.

None other than google adwords as it will show you not only keywords search from local places but also shows search queries fires around the world

 

I've heard very good reviews about Niche finder, but I only use google Keyword tool and i'm extremely satisfied with it.

 

Using Google Adword Kyeord tool is the best tool you can use for keyword research along with Google it's self (use show related searches option) grab those keywords and plug those back into Google Adwords keyword tool. You can find tons of long tail quality traffic this way. Takes more time but the in depth research is worth it in the long run.

First, google Adwords keyword tool is the best, and the largest directory with a lot of information.

There are also tiny applications like

Goodkeywords - It's tiny and good.
Wordtracker - Designed by Wordtracker.com - I never used it but people say it's good.
Keep them as a second choice and Adwords Keyword tool as your primary choice.
