    Hi all,

When I view my site with my computer or any decent computers,
the background of center portion shows perfectly white for me

But when I use my mom's old computer, and as many of my friends tell me,
the background would be gray for some reason,
which causes colors to not blend at all.

The other help I need is, how do you add those special looking borders around the main body? Like, I see many sites with similar body style as mine and when my internet's slow, it would show up the border before showing anything.

Any help would be appreciated, Thanks! :D

    1. Different monitors and different video cards produce different colours for the same image. Even two exactly equal monitors can be calibrated to produce different responses. Each PC user tunes his monitor to his personal taste, so you can't expect to satisfy everybody.

    2. Background can be added to a page by using the old-style background attribute for the body tag, or the newer approach of CSS styles. It is the first thing shown when a page is being downloaded. It is seen as a border when the main content is written on the screen.

it's fine for me, and fine for Islars31, but what the, it's not centered and aligned to left O_O...

    Putting that issue aside,

    1. How do you get borders like http://www.freescriptscenter.com/index.php ?
    2. I've been trying to make my text below images, but it keeps acting as if I have <div>
I checked the css file, and I can't seem to recognize what's wrong...

EDIT: I haven't realized that it was background itself which looked like borders. So #1 checked off~
