ok i have my hosting setup and i added 40 domains to the site and the sites are up but i had a weird problem. one of my add-on domain sites doesn't work.

my site that my hosting is under is proxy30.info and i upload files through there by doing something like through dreamweaver. now this worked for 39 of the sites, but there is 1 site that doesn't want to show up on its url.

its www.proxy32.info, it says it cannot be found but its listed under proxy30.info/proxy32 this is the first time it happend and i tired to find out why and see if it mabe was uploaded in the wrong file but i checked all the other sites that i uploaded and worked and it was in the right place. can anyone tell me whats wrong?

its showing up under proxy30.info/xx not proxy32.info by itself. and its starting to do this again as im adding more sites.

looks like a DNS issue, not a website/code issue.

check your name servers on the domain

thanks for the idea but it can't be the DNS because i wouldn't have been able to setup the domain to be an add-on anyway. so i don't think its that.

When was the domain set up? Are the nameservers pointing to the host server? Did you check to see that the addon domain was configured properly?

(Sorry, this is a drive-by post, so please forgive the rapid-fire succession of questions - I'll be back later.)

    when was the domain setup?

today about 4 hours before i built them.

are the nameservers pointing to the host server?

yes i checked them, thats the only way i can add them to the host domain anyway.

Did you check to see that the addon domain was configured properly?

Not sure what you mean, what the addon domain has access too? well when i was setting up sites all the files can be uploaded properly, but i uploaded proxy30 then 31 no problems but when i hit 32 it din't show up in the web browser, only when you go to proxy30.info/proxy32 then i ignored it and continued to upload the rest of the 36 sites with no problems. and i changed nothing. now im trying to add more sites and they are giving me the same problem as number 32.

Yeah, the location of the addon domain. Some servers are configured to separate every single site (I know my host does), while others have a master domain, with the others added on (and pointing to folders on the main one) - I think yours is set up this way. If you go to your main site, then go to the folder that the addon domain is pointing to and can see the content, but can't see it when you go to the add-on domain itself, then the problem could be that the DNS system hasn't finished propogating yet. Which means you may have to wait between 24 - 72 hours depending on how busy things are at the time.

If it's been five days, then I'd open a ticket with your hosting provider to see if there's anything messed up on their end if I were you.
