Can someone help me monetize my site?

I own a gaming website that gets 2,500 uniques daily. I am not making much off Adsense. I don't feel comfortable posting the URL here. If someone would be willing to give me some advice and tips to increase my CTR on Adsense I will add reputation and I will pay(depending on how hopefully your advice is).

I think you should contact good games site and ask them to buy review on your site. you can ask for banner ads if you have loyal 2500 visitors. you can also start your blog and earn money by giving post on your blog if you have good high Pr bogs...

 

I think you can put Amazon Widget that selling latest video games...

 

I am doing that as well. I get 3500 uniques daily and the Adsense CTR is barely over 0.25%. Any suggestions? I use a combination of image and text ads.

 

game sites are known to have the worse CTR. There is no way around it. Its been like that for years. It doesn't matter what you do, you are going to get a billion 1 cent clicks.

 

Sign up for some affiliate networks, a lot of the social games have CPA offers which convert decently well for gaming traffic.

 

You should monetize it using something other than adsense. You could make a lot more money using something like the Amazon affiliate program or any other affiliate program related to your niche. Expand your options and don't just try one thing if it isn't working well.

 

affiliates will surely add your earnings. try joining maxbounty, cj, etc... Just don't overdo it.

 

I think with this traffic you can also try and get some Direct Advertising. We are talking 100,000 uniques per month.

Yeah man i agree 100% with some of the above comments...Adsence is definitely NOT the best way to monetize this type of traffic.

If i were you, have a look at some of the CPA networks and find an offer that will compliment your traffic..

Do you have stats on your traffic demographic? Are they males, females - how old are they etc...

For some really good money, you could consider running a few adult or dating site offers on your site...these type of things generally convert very well with gaming sites.

 

I agree with SEOHoist, You should buile some your own small adult, dating, or casino websites to promote some good affiliate programs.

 

Gaming site you must just add Amazon adds and join to PTC so that your site will be known and there will be adds that wil look for your site, but Adsense is not appropriate.

 

You need more traffic before you can make real money.
