    Hi, I am not sure if this is the right section of my post, but I hope it is. I developed a splash page and can't get it up and running. On the backend, I changed my name servers and believe I uploaded the files correctly into my file manager.

    Click here and see what happens when I try to visit it.

    meetmesafe.com

    What can I do to fix this? I am using free hosting through here byethost.com if that makes a difference.

    Thanks in advance.

    Do you know why it wouldn't work otherwise?

    Didn't work for me. It seems like you do not have an index file in your root directory.

    This is what you have:

    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 3.2 Final//EN">
    <html>
     <head>
      <title>Index of /</title>
     </head>
     <body>
    <h1>Index of /</h1>
    <ul></ul>
    </body></html>
    Code (markup):
    there is no information. Basicallym you have no page.

    You said you made a splash page, what is the file name of that page?

    Alright, you need to name the splash page that you created, index.html and delete the index.html that is currently there.

    Have you checked which nameservers you find?

    Because, when you change name servers, the global servers can take up to 48 hours to update it meaning it can take up to 48 hours for you to view the page on the new server.

    Maybe you're viewing the old page now (because your internet provider's DNS hasn't updated yet).
