Can someone give me an estimate for this forum?

    Hi everyone,

    I am playing with an idea of selling this large forum and I'd like to know what this forum could be worth at the moment:

    Posts as of 26.June.2007: 149,839
    Average Posts per Month (last 3 months): 18920
    Threads: 10,573
    Average Threads Per Month: 1270
    Members: 2,375
    New Members, Average per Month: 147 sign ups
    Average page views per Day: >10,000

    Site is running for 806 Days and so far had 2,146,554 visitors incl. reloads, unique visitors to the site during this period: 500,497

    I have no stats on performance of Google Ads (put in just recently), donations are at approx. 100-200$ a month.

    Can someone please give me an estimated value of this site (domain and site included) ?

    Id say 10 months revenue from the donations, plus 10 months adsense revenue.

    nice site, definately a secure niche. Id say 6 months of adsense and 6 months of donations to start.

    It depends on a number of factors.
    How much do you pay for advertaising? hosting?

    On the forum you say the adsense make 400 year. Here you say the ads are new. which is it?

    I would say that you can find buyers willing to pay 10-14x revenue (donations and adsense) + a premium of 500+1000$ (forum size, membersbase) - hosting cost (and other cost associated with running the site)

    Or simplified.
    10-14x net profit + 500-1000$

    However if you really have spent 10 000$ on the forum as you say in the forum and hope to recoupe this you will be disappointed. You will not get anywhere near 10K

    I agree 100% with William, it can reach up to $3K IMO may be a little more if someone pretty interested in your niche, but never reach $10K for sure with the current revenue/stats

    Thanks everyone for your opinions. I am not really interested in selling it, to be completely honest. I love the forum and it took a while to build it. I really just needed to know what it could be worth currently.
