Im not from there but close enough and to be honest I doubt you will get any significant sell form it.Its a small market and If you dont have and idea behind domain its pretty much worthless in my humble opinion.
Hello. I am from Croatia, and domain name choice would be very good. Šljivovica is the product that has huge demand in some nearby countries (Germany, Switzerland, ...), and the domain in the format PRODUCTNAME.COM would be very good and potentially profitable, but you have used letter 'š' in the domain. That way, when you type šljivovica.com, you are redirected to http://xn--ljivovica-k3b.com. Sljivovica.com is a perfect domain for this product, but it is already registered. The guy just wrote his email on the site, lol. Good idea. And, to comment Marlito's reply, Croatia may be small country, having only 4.5 mil. people, but we have high degree of internet literacy. Here is the scientific proof for this: http://www.clickclickclick.com/rank.asp . See our ranking. Markn26, good luck with that. You have made a...small mistake
I know Croatia very well ,Im Croatian as well. But all ex Yugoslavia combined have very little buying power hence small market. This has nothing to do with internet literacy.I was going among the non one will pay for šljivovica more then 100$ lines. But as I said if there is idea behind that domain then its worth something if not then its worthless.
Thanks to all. BTW, a moderator could move this to "appraisals," I don't know how I made the mistake of putting it in this forum By the way, is the correct spelling not with the "Å¡" instead of an "s"? I've never seen it spelt with an "s" unless it's americanized. It's even spelled with an "Å¡" on the bottle label! Isn't this also popular in Slovenia & Serbia? I was hoping this would eventually catch on in the USA, especially in all of the Croat communities here. The domain is actually an IDN (international domain name). Someone already owns the "s" version but I got the "Å¡" one. The reason why it was forwarding to that wierd code is because it wasn't pointing anywhere, but I'm moving it over to SEDO. I guess I could make some kind of t-shirt site or just park it for awhile and see what happens.
Yes, 'Å¡' is correct, but it is very limited, beside all. Only local users have 'Å¡' on their keyboards, and it is limited to the local area.
