Consolidation for the slave account means giving your weight away to the master account. Hence your slave account having no weight. You gave it away.

Now log in to your master account (click 'go to master' at the top).

There you will see (at least) 27K consolidation weight.

It's basically a way to manage ad inventory and all weight through one master account.

OK, so what if my scenario is like this:

    - I have 3 websites A B & C.
    - I want to promote only site C.
    - I want to show ads on sites A & B, and not show ads on C.

    I do this:

    - Create 3 separate accounts for each site.
    - Bind accounts A & B to site C, which becomes Master Account.
    - Send all weight from A & B to the master account (C).
    - Set up the 'Pool of Advertisements' on accounts A & B with ads linking to site C.
    - Not setup any ads on account C.

    Results:

    - Sites A & B will display ads, the site C will not display any ads.
    - Site C only will benfit from backlinks.

Is this correct? If not, how should I set it up to push only site C?

    Thanks!

Why not run 5 ads on each....fear not :) . I have gone full circle.

Same concept you describe accept with 15 sites. I started 'all in'. Then pulled my one core site out. Why? I had fear of getting smacked by G, and if it was going to happen, my main site wasn't going to get smacked. Since being a member for a few months now, and seeing what happens with weight...it's everything! These links are rotating links. My feeling is all advertising on the net is basically this. So what's the problem, start throwing your weight around.

My core account had significant weight. I kind of miss it :) . As we speak I am putting this site back in.

Sorry, it's still not completely clear to me...

Looking at my scenario, I am not sure about one thing... The main site (C in my case) does not even need to have an account set up in the ad network, does it? I can simply serve the ads on sites A & B which link to site C, without having any account setup for C... Isn't that correct?

What's the point of throwing around the weight and connecting the ccounts together then? Isn't simply linking to C from ads created on A & B doing the same thing - promoting my site C?

    Thanks.

You can redistibute weight among ads under a master account, but not between the sites themselves?

or just between the ads under one site?

Correct, you can only redistribute weight among ads for that account or the master account(if you have added a master account for the account).

On the master account itself you can distribute weight to as many ads that you want, which you can point to any site. ex. any ads, any anchor and any destination url.

hope that helps and wasnt confusing.
