Can someone explain the "sandbox" thing??

    to supplement what angelfire said, "optimizing your keywords" means picking the right words/phrases/terms that would fit your site's subject/theme, (eg. if you have a site selling football items, you could choose the keywords: football gears for sale, football items, selling football items, etc.)

    @ adnewbie: --another point to follow-- pr and serp rankings are two different entities (related but still different to each other), some pr0 sites could rank higher than sites with higher PR in search engine results for certain keywords, it all depends on what keyterms you are looking for/optimized for. So it's not surprising if you find your site listed higher than those high PR sites. Now if you want to have a higher PR, you need backlinks that have high PR.
