facebookcom.com ? googlecom.com ? I understand these are highly visited domains. I also understand that there are some individuals that want to make money off this traffic with advertisements. That is, turning their parked domains into PPC campaigns where they earn money. But why would someone in their right mind enter "com" twice? I can see it if they type in googlecom (without putting in the period) and then they press Control+Enter on their computer. But then again, that seems very very rare. What are other instances which would take someone to such websites? I can't justify why someone would pay for such domain names if it is such a rare probability. Perhaps someone can elucidate.
Many times people mis type the website and add another com.com.. so that way they can visit their site and click on ads maybe, and exit.. or something.
the best way to learn is to register some of typos... and you understand there is no reason ... but can not let it drop
I agree with the rest of the people about TM but let me reply to your question why a person types two com First he may do a typo, you know so many times your mind is not with you when you type Second there are browsers like Opera where they auto complete the url when you forget the tld For example in opera you can type googlecom press enter, the program adds by default (you can change that of course) the .com and starts crawling
Almost .."o" traffic to a name like that .. the real problem .. is most will not blow it .. (typing) that bad .. com.com .. umm .. no .. lol Tk
nah.... I dont think many do that mistake.. may be they type it domaincom without dot but surely you'll have TradeMark problems so better dont take risks
but then i trid to chekc some typo domain for googal and the like..all taken.. i agree they get lots of traffic.. but rights issue maybe a problem..
