Can someone explain how yahoo answers brings in traffic?

I think everyone else pretty much beat this up. Essentially, you are getting very targeted visitors to your website. The visitor posts a question and then you can reply and share your source of information. (Your Article). This will give you a steady flow of visitors to your site. I would be interested to run some studies to see how many of those visitors actually convert into paying customers, but that is another day I recommend using Google Alerts by the way. Can be great for Yahoo Answers

 

Search question which are open and related to your site. Don't post links to each and every post. JUst post when it is needed.
Your link will be active once you reach 250 points
Be careful while posting, If someone reports you you will be banned and sometimes all your previous posts will also be deleted, Best practice is to change account frequently

Yahoo answers like any authority site brings in traffic from the answers you provide, backed up by your link, however lately the admins will ban your account for posting links within a short time of registering
