So I just signed up for ClickBank, and it looks promising. I'm going to start using it with PPC ads. I am unfortunately really confused about the whole process for some reason though. Here are some questions I have, and I'd be grateful is someone cleared them up for me. 1) Do I have to create a landing page, or do I use the one in the marketplace under "view pitch page" on an offer. 2) If I do have to create one, do I just send clicks to http://me.PUBLISHER.hop.clickbank.net? 3) Should I buy some keyworded niche domains, or could I use domains I already have that have nothing to do with the offer. Also, any tips or advice would be welcome. Thanks!
You dont necessarily need a landing page, but you do need to get people to go to your hoplink that you can create by clicking "create hoplink" and enterting in your clickbank i.d If you do create one, yes send people to your hoplink Obviously domain's with relevant keywords would be better then ones that are pure gibberish..
I wouldn't start with PPC at the moment buddy, CB is fcuked up and you will probably lose your shirt! Start by getting a good keyword domain and build up links and good quality. This will help when you turn on the PPC in the future as high quality sites pay less for the clicks. Jim
You really need to study everything you can about ppc and google adwords otherwise the odds are you'll loose money. You need to know how to get high ctr for your ads and to maintain a high quality score.
don't try ppc this moment.. it is really a bad moment.. find a domain close to your niche. a landing page created by you is better!
don't try ppc this moment. clickbank is in a strange situation with credit cards! find a domain close to your niche. a landing page created from is much better than direct linking
The best advice that I can give you is to stay clear of PPC. As it is very expensive, and you got to know how to do advertising with PPC. If you want to use PPC you got to learn to split test and bid correctly. Alternative to PPC is Ezine solo ads or press releases and it is very targeted. Go look up web 2.0 you will learn allot stop wasting money on ppc.
I feel I can manage and track PPC keywords so I know which ones are converting. Why is PPC so bad at the moment? Is it just PPC in general, or using CB with PPC? I find it hard to believe that PPC isn't making money right now. Also, I can build a domain and get some quality backlinks in no time. How much does this affect your quality score? Also, where can I read about getting my quality score up. Thanks.
PPC is bad at the moment because clickbank is having problems processing credit cards. It seems like an intermittent problem. You don't want to pay money for traffic that would normally convert, but is unable to pay.
Hey Max I would recommend creating a landing page especially if you are planning article marketing / SEO. The main reason is many article sites don't allow affiliate links. I would also recommend steering clear of PPC. I have never used PPC for clickbank because I don't feel it's needed. Just research your keywords and dominate the first few pages of your niche keywords. There are some tools that make it easy to determine your chances of getting to the first few pages of Google but of course you need to purchase them, but hey, it's made and saved me money in the long run.
3 = use a professional .com domain. I think you'll lose sales in a weightloss niche if you were using "mega2006.info" domain. Customers are scam wary and won't favour a crappy domain.
What tools would you need to purchase? I have dominated SERPs with nothing but organic SEO and tad bit of link building. Any tools you buy are more than likely a waste of money. Well, my main reason for going with CB was to use PPC. Since everyone is saying not to go this way, what's a good affiliate program to use PPC with?
"There are some tools that make it easy to determine your chances of? getting to the first few pages of Google but of course you need to purchase them, but hey, it's made and saved me money in the long run" Slixeh: What tools do you recommend?
dont try and monetize straight from adwords. Guerrilla style it and give some great advice away for free in return for their email. Dont try and rush it do it properly and reap the rewards.......
This always makes me wonder. You sell someone else's product for them, for a commission, but you take all the risk and pay for the advertising yourself out of your cut. I can see how it's a good deal for them, but how is it good for you? If it were possible to market the product profitably enough that way, why wouldn't they just be doing that themselves rather than using affiliates?
Affiliates are your employees, they are generating more money for your business. Plus, you are assuming all publishers are good at marketing.
A few hundred affiliates can market a campaign much better than 1 publisher can I will tell you that much
