I searched google already and couldn't find any good asnwers. so here's my Q,

I want to make a website where people can watch music videos and i don't want to host them myself but rather use the ones on Youtube and other simialr websites. If i just embed the video on my website, will i be braking any rules? Will i be sued or something for copyright? I only want Music Videos, nothing else. Is that illegal?

So...? Can someone here help me? will i brake any rules? Thank you :)

You can embed any video that's on YouTube on your own website. If YouTube is breaking some rules, then you are too. But Google will take down every video which is breaking the rules, so automatically, it won't be accessible.

All in all, I think it's okay to do what you're planning to do.

You should be able to find a script to do what you want without embedding each video by hand.

    Good Luck.

You can do that. You can check out demo.autovideoscript.com. It will find videos from youtube with the keywords you specify.

For my site Good Artists Shared Every Day I automaticly submit a new musicvideo from youtube to blogger. Just connect your blog to your youtube account, and use the share function at youtube to post it.

Only downside to this method is that you manually have to edit the post to add a tag/label.

Recently I have been moving over to Grooveshark for just sharing songs, as this is more stable. Youtube videos tend to get deleted from time to time..

    No, you're not breaking rules.
Since the video is from YouTube, you can just embed it on your website.
The problem is you're not controlling the video owned by somebody else which
might me not available one because YouTube has taken a strict restriction for video.
