Can Someone Act as Proxy in Applying to Become an Editor

Once again, could we get a link to the contact information? As we've asked and asked and asked and asked for it, and as editors keep saying "why not just contact AOL" I just have to assume that when an editor says that what it really means is "I'm not willing to answer your question, so here, lets play run around".

So how about it? Lets get some contact info so we actually CAN talk to AOL about the ODP... I'm sure they would LOVE to see what is really going on.

 

AOL company have public free phone lines to be contacted . I`m sure about this , even if you will wait a wile to get in touch with right person .... so if you wanna really do it go on and spend like half of hour waiting at phone line ..

If makrhod , refer to me to drop them a line .... I`m too bored and too sick about this , and I`m sure they will not even care about what peoples can suggest them . This directory is build and maintain JUST for seo propose to have an extra toy for Google ( and other search engines ) , since they are giving such importance for it .
Aol staff never will bother to even pay two cents for what peoples think about it , for them is just an '' safe investment '' , they don't have their own search engine using google for this , so the ODP maybe was only field of this to have a piece of cake ...

 

You have the exactly the same access as we (volunteer editors) do, which is that AOL is in charge.
You might get a response by posting on the official blog.

 

If there on this forum ( where is supposed to be outside of ODP / DMOZ editor influence ) I got what I got ... I don't have imagination to dream what I can get from the official blog where you guys have full control ...

 

So. If one of you could kindly apply for me in a manner in which DMOZ will accept the application and make me an Editor of the Niche I am interested in, I would be very grateeful and post your site in my Category as long as it complies with all of DMOZ's Rules as I the New Editor will Interpret them. lol.

this is really breaking rules from the DMOZ directory , not even from them but is unethical . If you are so desperate to become editor to have a chance to add on directory spammy sites just fill your forms over and over good luck !

 

No we do not have any control. AOL staff have control of the official blog and you wanted to talk to AOL or will only the SEO or chairman of the board be good enough for you?

 

This is really valuable comment , and thanks for it ! so editors ( at any level ) do not have access to moderate the official blog ? only AOL folks manage it ? This can be a way to get some answers and maybe some solutions about '' my problems '' . I`ll give a try when I have enough boring time to write a huge protest letter

hehehe I just checked the official blog ... I like how Miss Emily write there , and I love the comments it's seems to be a nice and boring experience , someone bothered to read some of the comments from this blog anyway ? its worst like my automatically splogs used to age my domains for test's , nice thing is they are adding '' nofollow '' for the links spam which are post under the comment's , at least this !

ps . i`m still lost between the nice posts made by Miss E. and the spammy comments ( which are really funny some of them ) , and the option for '' contact us '' , with sure my not so experienced eyes didn't catch it this option but I`m still looking for it . I`m wondering at this point ... why on the name of god you guys recommended peoples to try to contact AOL staff via this blog since there isn't any way to contact anyone just to spam Emily's posts I can't even imaginary this means for editors to contact someone ... to spam her blog lol .

 

With the corruption and dictatorial way how ODP promote their listing service , and the way how you guy's choose to '' share the love '' it's hard to believe someone really care about this damn it crap spam link directory . This is only bullshits about keeping an official advertising campaign ! Just with the reason to keep public interest about the directory alive , to increase the revenue generated for peoples with you colaborate ( for example mods from this forum ) ...
I don't give a shit about the DMOZ listing's and I don't really need to get site's listed there , I make this one more post just to spare my love to the moron who control the mods from this forum , or if he ( she ) is editor and mod there to show some love
