Hi, I am looking to build a pitch page and looking for ideas. If you hve a great example can you please send me a PM. Please do not send ma any examples that are yours. The niche is webdesign/banner design etc Thanks JB
it will be really hard to find a "great" pitch page, mainly because most of the people don't have a "great" one but they will post their sites just to get backlinks and stuff .
are you looking for a great sales letter? here's how I judge, just start reading them...if by the end you want to buy the product (even though it's not something you need [like a yeast infection product]) that's a good page and you should be able to glean ideas from there. Hope this helps, Scotty
You haven't mentioned a category of any sort, but you can get pretty good ideas just surfing around the high gravity sites in the marketplace...stuff like forex ambush, stock assault, forex funnel, runyourcaronwater, earth4energy, FL4I, surveyforprofits, and even blogging to the bank. The most common theme they have is they build credibility, have a strong brand image and offer plenty of proof (THE best conversion rate booster in existence). Although you really shouldn't just "modify" someone else's page...the best salesletters so far are the purely original new idea ones, try and be different-you'll surprise yourself.
I recommend you copy the format of one that works and change the words for your own needs. Go for the shorter pages. The long ones have too many variables that might not work when you have modified for your own needs.
Long salesletters help weed out the casual surfers since the real money leads will keep reading right until the end, and the more information you throw at them, the more credibility you build and the more money it turns to in turn at the turning of the turn. Also, work in a pile of testimonials and examples of why and how your design work is superior to what everyone else has to offer, and why going somewhere else will be more expensive/annoying/less rewarding as compared to yours. These are basic salesletter concepts, but debasing the competition is a good way to make a good impression-go figure.
Look at some of the pages with the top gravity in Clickbank. They obviously convert well - most of them.
I really wish you hadn't done that, articleterritory...most of us have only come across it after much searching and hard work, but I suppose only 1% of the people that read it would actually use the info in it...
I would never hold back an effective response to a question unless to prevent bodily injury or death..... It doesn't matter who comes across that letter, you need to know what you are looking for in order to find it! So as you said, most people will read it and not even use the info...
I've seen that website before, but didn't pay much attention to it. Today, I've spent about 10 minutes reading the content around there, and it's just...just...god, I don't know what to say...... Now I understand, why Gary is the "Prince of Print".
Best sales page i've read is earth4energy hands down. It could make the biggest eco hater go green thumb.
