Hey guys. I'm planning on selling my site due to time constraints. Could you guys give me your estimates and opinions on the worth of the site? Here is some info: Domain: www.FrazzleSnazzle.com Description: Humor blog. Contains funny videos, articles and pictures. Powered by WordPress. PR: 0 Links to us: We have quite a lot of links coming to us. I found one PR 2 link on simpsonjessica.blogspot.com for instance. Technorati stats show we have 27 links from 22 blogs. We are also getting some decent traffic from most major search engines. Traffic: -Alexa Rank is 149,125 -First week, we got front page of Digg and pulled over 105,000 unique visitors -After that it averaged 2500-4000 unique visitors per day -Now after the Digg, we are steady at 250-300 unique visitors to day and seeing a slight increase Revenue: -During the Digg we averaged from $2.50 to $7.20 per day -Now after the digg we are averaging $0.50 to $1.00 per day -2 link sales on the sidebar, $50.00 each -Total Revenue: $136.92 (links plus AdSense earnings since March 6th) Age of site: 1 month Content: Most of the videos are from YouTube, Google Video, eBaumsWorld. Pictures and articles found all over the net, with credit given to sources. We have 36 posts and 78 comments. So, what do you guys think its worth? If there's any other info you need to give a decent appraisal please post and I'll add it! Thanks!
I would say $200 because of the 2 - 4k unique per day. Once your site actually gets a PR and is aged a bit, the value will raise
Cool thanks guys. I think I'll just let the site age increase, the revenue increase, and traffic increase until about September of this year and then I'll sell. That should be enough time to improv alot. Still open to more opinions though.
Oh yes, this site has huge potential due to the high unique traffic! I would give it atleast.. 4 more months before selling it. Atleast after the next PR update , in the mean while, work on your backlinks!
Thank you! Although in your first post you said "...because of the 2 - 4k unique per day." The 2 - 4k unique per day only lasted about a week and a half. Now it's leveled out at 250-300 uniques per day and is increasing daily.
Just like 8everthing said, but I don't see a reason to sell the site. With time the Site will make you more money. So keep it for now, if you need the money sell it later in the year.
There's no original content. Since your traffic is dwindling that indicates that the site just had a "new shiney" effect that quickly wore off. I'm guessing the two link sales were made during the Digg period. Since the popularity didn't stick it's unlikely you'll continue making sales. Sub $1.00 per day in AdSense isn't worth investing in. The lack of text content will make it near impossible for the site as is to rank in Google for anything. So I'd say your site isn't really worth anything. Anyone could do what you did in an hour or two. The only thing that would keep the site going is finding good videos and pictures and building a brand. So the only thing that could be considered worth paying for is the domain name if one thinks that's a good brand name.

I just had a look at your alexa graph and it does look quite crazy. Its just iv been dugg a LOT of times and never got more than 12-15k visitors out of it in one day. Are you sure it was just from digg?
I'm not positive it was just from Digg but I don't know where else it wouldve come from. Although other than the technorati saying we had 27 links from 22 blogs or whatever, I did notice a shitload of links all over the web. But I'm quite positive it's all from Digg.
