Can some one suggest me a accounting software which is free for small business?

    I need a accounting software to maintain records of my business. i need to enter jounal entries, need to maintain bank account and all. please suggest me a accounting software which is free or atleast less then $100

    Since you are in India, I would suggest you tally. If your business needs the sales tax returns and VAT than you must go with the latest version of Tally which I think you can buy from $100 - $150. However, if you don't need the sales tax returns than you can download the Tally version 5.4 which should be free for you and it is probably the best software to use in accounting and inventory management than any other software in India.
