I sold one of my sites , I used escrow.com the transaction went smooth. now after 3 week i get a mail from the buyer saying he found this site which has copied my sold site as is 100% ditto even site name is my sites name. now he says he he wants his money back because some one has stealed the site. What should i do . I told him iam not responsible for some one stealing the site. it is like going and buying a car and when some one steals the car going to the dealer and asking for money iam pissd of now
don't pay him...the sales was final...you could predict that someone else was going to copy it 100% before you sold it to him.... i think he is just wanting his money back and something for free..dealt with that as a customer service rep for a year...
we used escrow.com to do the deal he says he will go and ask escrow.com. after reading the posts here i never use paypal when selling sites. yeah looks like he wants the site for free thanks for the advice
It's most likely he made the copy of the site, trying to get a freebie - it's not your fault, you can't stop other even if it wasn't him who copied. Don't give him the money back.
looks like he made the copy himeself no i wont give the money back. I have not signed any agreement also. we can never guarantee that something wont be stolen. I bought this pet forum once and i see that the previous owner replicated the forum one a new pet forum he started. lot of cheaters in this world today .
I would agree and would not pay him back. You can't make any guarantees when you develop a website that the idea will not get pilfered.
it is not the idea the whole site "as is " is on a another location ditto copied i feel this guy wants his money back and is using scare tactics
