Well its a bit simple and plain... Anyway you have 10 validator errors http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http://caravan-holiday-exchange.com/ Most, due to using the wrong DTD
thanks for that i think most of the errors are on first page and all to do with the pics etc as a newbie and not sure what i am doing how should i proceed to correct cheers Doug
ok, After having a short look, you need to update the images throughout: On the following pages you will need to fix: - register.html (the images disappear) - browse.php (the navagation bar has disappered) You need to add titles to all pages, so no untitled documents or missing ones. Add meta tags throughout the site Add more content to sub pages Add more information regarding what a caravan swap is, ie advantages, perhaps reviews, add a social side to the site, etc Try adding, as mentioned a little colour, although stylishly.... Also I tried looking at your register document, and it needs a little work, if you want to send us a pm, I might be able to sort it.... Ohh, by the way, it seems a really good idea, and with a lot of development and advertising.. And a method of moneytising you could earn a packet Hope that Helps
You need to review the design to make it more professional and a site that people can trust. And turn off the yellow.
The yellow background needs to go.. it's too bright. The only part of the layout I like are your tab buttons, try to design a new layout around this design concept. Something web 2.0, well aligned and clean.
Tabs look bad without something under them. Change your username and password - it only took me one guess. The latter is a moot point, as there is no verification on the member's page.
1 you could change the background , it`s hurting my eyes ( and some other users` one ) 2 the top menu isn`t quite okay , I can see how you made those buttons , those "curved corners" are not perfect 3 create a layout and keep it along all pages 4 create a better logo 5 add a footer menu
You don't have to completely get rid of the yellow, but turn it down a bit at least. Since you are now using a colored background, you have problems with your rounded tabs up top - they have white in the corners... put something behind your tabs for the look and feel of tabbed pages (maybe creating the look of a piece of paper for each section? Add content and keep reading on HTML and web design. Don't get stuck or emotional about a specific design - keep reworking it and with some experience, you will get better. Matt
