Can some one explain why? contact (a) website.com

    Can someone explain why some people are using there email address without the (@) sign

    I'm sure it's ok if you type contact(a)website.com then create a mailto://contact@website.com

    but some people just typing mailto://contact(a)website.com which does not work.

    Where are they doing this - maybe they don't want to give out their email?

    I've seen it in some website. I believe also in a bigger company website. When I bump it to them again, I'll post it here.
