ecpm = how much you earn for 1000 ad impressions.

    simple.

ecpm is nothing but how many you are earning per 1000 impressions.

your impressions are 22 ( below 1000 ) so for you ecpm will mean how many you might have earned if it was 1000 visitors and not 22 visitors.

    See
    0.75 pounds / 22 impressions
    = 0.03409 pounds per impression
    = 34.09 pounds per 1000 visitors
( your stats say it is 34.29 , the difference is because the ecpm and earning both are not exact and are adjustable )

No on the site it said it means total earnings divided by impressions, then multiplied by 1000. And plus it wouldn't work with junk traffic so its not 100% accurate. Well I don't know, correct me if I'm wrong, but thats just my theory.

Not exactly, Because the E in eCPM stands for Estimated!

So It is the Estimated amount you earn from 1000 Impressions!!

ECPM is highly dependable on CTR and Niche ;) :D

It stands for Estimated in your head only. the e of CPM is not for estimated, so come back when you talk from real sources and not from what you "believe".

Anyway, there is no fixed eCPM in adsense, the eCPM is simply calculated from what you earned, the thing is:

Total Earnings / number of ad impressions * 1000 = eCPM

and of course to increase your overall eCPM, you can increase your CTR by optimizing your ad placement. And also work on high paying niches (for a better CPC)

That way you'll earn more money for 1000 ad impressions and your eCPM will reflect that.
