Can some make a list of domain extension in order of importance for SEO?

If the .com domain is occupied and you do want to keep that extension, make a small change to the first part of the domain by adding or removing a character or putting hyphens between the separate words.

 

1. all of them except country extensions
2. country extensions.

.com is the best for type-in traffic. I don't see any other advantage of a .com TLD.

 

the biggest plus of a .com is it the chance u will appear ahead of local domains in all countries even more so now that google pulled their layout change that forces a click on the left of the page b4 u see locally geo targetted results.

 

there is no extension that is better for seo than another one the only factor if you want to get into it is domain age

no problems whatsoever and putting .co second on the list well what can i say lol have you not noticed a decrease in sales after the hype has died ?
many domainers cant even shift decent domains time will tell for this extension but right now no its nowhere near the second best lol

 

The advantages of .com and .net is that you can get Whois privacy protection for them, but not for most of the others.

.com is the same as .info in SEO terms.
