Can some Directory owners recommend a Good Host?

    Hi,

My current host seems to go down every couple of months and was wondering if some of my fellow DP owners could recommend a Stable Host with dedicated resources and a couple of ip's for under 100$ a month.

    Happy Xmas All

I'd have to go with bluehost. Get hosting and it is only $170 for 2 years plus you can host up to 6 other domains. Great security as well.

I second the nomination for hostgator. never have had a day of downtime, and there is nothing better than good ole cpanel hosting.

    Lots of good recommendations! :)
You might want to go with someone who provides IP's at low cost as that looks like an " important requirement" for you.
    Bye :)

You mean dedicated server for under $100 per month? Not sure if you can find any decent company with that price range.. I think you should be ready to pay at least $150 per month.
    hostgator seems good.

You could probably find decent VOS hosting fairly cheap. I think Surpass Hosting has VPS servers for about $75/month

From the research that I made at WebHostingTalk.com forum I could suggest these 2 hosting provider:

    www.ASmallOrange.com
www.HostMaven.com -where my directory is hosted there.

Both have good reputations and receive lots of good feedbacks and reviews at the forum.

    Hope this helps,
