    Hi I was bidding on this domain a few day ago and was sure that I was going to and the highest bid was just more than $10 I think and then when I checked who the new owner was and it was snapnames http://whois.domaintools.com/internetmarketingsoftware.com

    Or am I wrong?

    The domain name was placed in a temporary "holding account" pending transfer, then it was finally given to its buyer. Check its new record at iwhois.com like I did just now.

    DomainTools' WHOIS isn't real time as you noticed. It just updates when it can.
