Can Smartpricing go positive?

I'm seeing something weird today; my pay per click has tripled! Before I would be lucky to reach $5 daily and today I have already passed $10.

Nothing else changed, clicks and impressions are normal (that is CTR has remained crappy as usual) but profit is up! So there is hope after all! Now what should I do with this unplanned profit? Villa in Monte Carlo? :D

I wouldn't be suprised, since low conversions can lead to lower paying clicks - that higher conversions may go the other route. Although, it's hard to say really, especially since many things affect the CPC of your ads. Things such as the ad appearing on your page to the actual value of that ad change, as advertisors may change their bids, reach their budget, pull out of keywords or enter into new keywords. Even the day of the week could affect your payments. Some days I get twice the click value as other days. It's all part of the game.

Its back to normal today. :(

Probably some advertiser placed wrong amount (extra 0 so instead of nickels I got quarters) like that time almost two years ago when I got $20 for single click. :D
