I've lost nearly every asset in my Divorce, Including my 12 Year Landscaping company, it was sold to my son and now i currently work as an employee for him, She and Her Lawyer claim and have set a motion to raise the child support, that i make $172,000 of annual income, I only make $2,200 of income a month, she wants to raise the child support from $1,300 to $2,200, How will i live?, I have a wife, and two kids, plus my wife's kid who is not my mines, but still lives with us nontheless. They Keep coming after me thinking that i have some money hidden and that i sold the company to my son in order to divert that asset. PLEASE HELP, I have a hearing soon.

Well, do they have any evidence against you that you sold the company to your son to divert the asset? No, as long as you did not really do it. I don't think that they can do nothing really if they don't get proof that you're really making more than how much you stated that you're making.

Anyway, if it goes worse, try to get a new higher paying job.

That is what they Think, that i sold to try to divert assets, they think i'm this millionaire hiding this stash of cash. That is what i think, the amounts that they ask for are laughable, They Also want alimoney, She's perfectly able to work and Her Lawyer says that since their is a disparity in our supposed incomes, supposedly she makes $918 a month and i Make $10,000, I have to pay $2,000 In Alimoney, But so far the judges have dismissed the alimoney thing.

You probably need to hire a lawyer and talk to him.

Well, as recommended above, you should in all conditions hire a lawyer to make things more secure.

Anyway, I don't think that they can do anything even after years of time, only if there is valid proof against you.

Yeah, you need a real lawyer. I agree with you on the alimony thing...it's ridiculous, especially if she is the one that left. I know a few guys in the same boat, and they curse the day the ever met her.

I think it's wrong that women think that they should get paid, after the fact, yet a man is expected to support himself no matter the circumstance.
but all I can do is bitch with you, only a lawyer in your state can help you on this one.

What do you make a month, where do you live, and how many biological kids do you have with her? The step kid does not count regarding child support payments unless you adopted the child.

These answers would help me help you more.

I waded thru the above and my understanding is that you are divorced and your ex-wife receives child support from you. She is now petitioning get the child support amount raised. Alimony is not an issue as it was rejected in the original settlement. I don't know enough to take sides but ex-husbands always complain that their ex's want too much in child support - but they are your kids and your responsibility.
Divorces are messy and only the lawyers win - but you still need one so you don't get screwed at your hearing. Good luck.

What proof does she claim to have that you make 172k a year? If I were you, I would consult a lawyer about this right away.
