    Can Search engines read images links? Pretty simple i have pages on my site that are just images of products that link to other pages. Can search engines follow these?

    i think yes, but as far as i know seo dosen't encourage image links

    Yes, Search Engines follow that links if the "nofollow" attribute is NOT present.

    Yes they can. You can see what google sees if you look at the cached version of your website and select text only.

    Yes, they do follow image links.
    And don't forget to fill up the "alt" attribute for the images and the "title" attribute for the links, that's should help.

    yes make sure you add an "alt=" tag to all of them..you'd be surprised with the traffic images.google.com can send you ;)

    Besides the Alt tags, have a look at Google Webmaster Tools in the "Enhanced Image Search" section and join up. I found that gets image related traffic in quite well.

    yes they follow image link.but try to avoid it if possible. other thing is use: alt code for image link.

    As others already have mentioned, try to avoid image links. What is a good thing to do, however, if you are not already doing it, is to name your image files with relevant keywords.

    If your site is relatively new than consider changing your page names to something that is descriptive and that reflect the content on the page. Not a big improvement but everything helps.
