I have found an offer in fiverr where someone rent his server with scrapebox preinstalled for one day. I am thinking to rent it for one day and to blast, in order to gain some backlinks. Can this boost my site rankings?
You can use it taint your domain in Akismet and other spam stopper software so that you'll never successfully comment on a blog or forum again.
I would avoid it at any cost for automatization (it could be useful only for searching related blogs).
I agree that it may very well do you more harm than good in the end. Rent a few forum posters for the day instead.
Scrapebox can do a lot of good if used the right way. And you are wrong to assume that by blasting backlinks it will help increase your rankings. As others said, it would in fact make your domain spammy and put you in the wrong with Google. SB should be used to find out high PR sites where you can manually go and post relevant comments to the post (add value) rather than post the gibberish that one gets to see usually from SB users. In my view, do a bit more research before you purchase that fiverr gig.
