Can RSS Feeds hurt my site due to Outbound links?

    I heard RSS Feeds are great since they constantly update, which in turn makes fresh content constantly & brings in the Google spider

    However, wouldn't RSS feeds actually HURT your SEO, due to have 20+/- outbound links to another website?


    I.E. --- Mortgage news RSS Feed going outbound to "MortgageNewsWebsite.com"

    NO, RSS feed can't hurt seo .RSS feed helps you to easily stay informed by retrieving the latest content from the sites you are interested in.

    No it will not harm you in any way. No news related aggregators hurts a site. They are treated as an enhancement.

    RSS links are nofollow and can hardly hurt your rankings. 20 feeds are like 20 comments on a blog post .. the more, the better.
