Can publisher IDs be swapped on websites?

    Hello,

Basically, what I want to do is have a site where when a user writes an article, they can have their adsense ad show up on the article 50% of the time, or something like that. I plan to do this by asking for their adsense publisher id when they sign up, then I would place this into the ad code for the page so their ad shows. Now, Google doesn't allow modifying their code, however what I plan to do would appear to Google as a genuine ad code I would think. Would I have to insert the user's full adsense code into my page, or can I just enter the pub id into the page with code already styled to match? Would Google take issue with this?

    Thoughts please. Thanks. :)

That's a good question :) I would like to know that too! Although, I think it would be fine.

Based on some research I'm doing online, it looks like it would be ok as there are various other web builders that do the same thing.
