    Ofcourse press release articles can create some very high ranking backlinks, but it might take a lot longer and harder to publish a press release, than say an article

    Yes, they can create backlinks - as long as they are picked up by other webmasters who post the PR on their website. From my experience it is a goodway to build backlinks quickly, however you do need to keep repeating the process.

    Press releases can not be promotional in nature, but you can include a URL with your post (usually at the bottom).

    It is right that press release can give you backlink BUT normally if U submit your Press Releaase in Free PR Sites u hardly get backlink from there because they sites are not provide us live link in free submission

    According to me the Press release has to be submitted in the best way by using good content in the press release form,press release also help to increase the back links and the PR of the site also help to generate the good traffic for your website.

    It is also the part of the off page submission which gives long term benefits for the site.
