Can premium members edit posts in their own thread ? Can someone edt my first post and remove everything and write "Contest over, winner selected and iTrader exchanged" I'll be very grateful to you if you do that.
I guess mods are not seeing reported reports. For example, see this - http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2299942 I reported that the same day I created that by mistake. I didn't knew that 8 hours thing , can you please edit that thread ? http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2298891#post16842010 And remove everything from first post and write "Contest over, winner selected and iTrader exchanged"
It's all covered in the FAQ. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/faq.php?faq=policies#faq_change_your_post
Okay, I'll read that fully. But can you kindly edit that thread http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2298891#post16842010 and remove everything from first post and write "Contest over, winner selected and iTrader exchanged". From next time, I'll make sure I read all rules and FAQ and won't request editing.
"Contest over, winner selected and iTrader exchanged" Why don't you just post that to the thread yourself and be done with it?
That is a tough one. They do not edit posts, so you are going to be stuck with that I think. Next time you can link to an image or something that has your specs and then you will have the ability to change it later. A lot of us have learned the hard way not to include urls or names of things we do not want being here in perpetuity. The best you can do is just let the thread die a quick death and hope for the best. Not the answer you want, but I can offer you a tip and I will do my part. You should edit out the links to that thread that you added to this thread. I will remove the one I quoted for you as well.
Yeah, I've learn a lesson and will never do this mistake again. Same problem again, i won't be able to remove the links from this thread because of same limitation. Thanks
