Can PR be transfered?

Can PR be transfered from a host to another if I keep the domain is a PR of.. lets say 3 hooked to it?

So, does the PR "stick" to the domain or the host? I hope that makes sense..

PR is based on several factors. Backlinks is one and content is another. There may be more but I am unsure. PR does not mean a lot to me as traffic is way more valuable. I would rather have a million uniques per day than a PR10 domain.

PR is ONLY related to links. ;) Better content gets more links, and better SEO, but not PR. Write the best content in the world and keep it in www.myunknownsite.com/unlinked/to/directories/orphanfile.html and it will never get any PR.

Sticks to the domain. If you only change your host you're fine. However from what I've read from Google representatives they don't like if you change your host and heavily change your content (subject) at the same time. They are fighting against buying expired domains just for the PR. If you stay on the same subject you'll do fine.

Of course u can retain the PR if u retain all the links. More the number of outbound links, more will be the PR. There are other methods to increase your PR. Please refer article written by Mr_Kumar in this forum. I hope that will be useful...
