can pR be decreased?

if your website ranking suddenly decreased then it's call Google dancing, so in this situation that you need high page rank back link to get regular page rank.

 

Page Rank is based on the number and quality of inbound links. Page Rank is not dependent on the content of your website, especially the standard on page SEO pieces of content like Page Title. Making these changes is not what decreased your Page Rank.

You need to check the Page Rank of the sites where you created links for your site and see if they have decreased. If so, they have probably been "busted" by Google and you might think about removing the links because they have decreased in SEO value (probably being worth close to nothing).

 

PR can most definitely drop or go up for various reasons.

i have a site i have not worked on in 2 years but the PR has remained at 2 throughout.There are many other reasons why your PR will drop.

 

Yeah. You have more possibility to get your PR down due to not maintaining the quality link building. So keep on working on links.
