Can people see what domains you search that are available or not?

Are there ways for people to see what domains you search?

I searched up this .com domain name. It was available. I thought, "eh, I'll reg it the next day". And when I checked to see if it was available the next day, it was already taken, and the site was setup hours earlier.

    Thanks

Maybe it was just a coincidence ? that domain must one which is related to a hot trend so others also wanted it.

However others cant see what you search, you must not use godaddy just for searching availability. they save all data and use it to decide premium domains and suggest them to other uses too.

Yes that's true. Don't try to search domain anywhere.

I now only use NameCapsule.com whois tool for checking domains.

Before, I also experienced what you have experienced using the
other tools around specially those from well-known registrars.

They will record your searches and register the names for themselves
and then offer them for sale as premium domains.
