Hi all, right now I am in the middle of a selling dispute. And it all suggests that paypal is gonna be in favor of the other party, the buyer, unsuprisingly. Now my paypal account is limited, and showing negative balance (but the case is still in progress, the buyer has not been refunded yet). My paypal account is linked with one of my bank accounts and also the debit card comes with the account. So if finally I lose this case, will paypal withdraw money directly from either my bank account or debit card to refund the buyer? I guess for a normal account the answer is always yes, but what about for a limited account? Will PP also do that? I just contacted my bank and they say I have not set up a direct debit with paypal. Thanks for the attention.
Don't worry, they can't debit your Bank account directly... They don't have rights. You can inform your bank regarding this and they will not allow PayPal for direct debit but they already said it so no need to worry about.
Won't worry man. I am also using Paypal connected to my debit card and I am withdrawing money as needed. No problem
Paypal have no right to withdraw money from your bank account for just a simple reasons .so,don't worry and open new paypal account ,with all new details completely different from previous one .
Paypal cannot deduct money from your account directly without your persmission so dont worry about it but your papypal balance will be negative
Thanks you all. That s really comforting. But one more question, how about ebay? Cause I remember last time when tried to buy sth using zero balance paypal, I received a letter from the bank saying I was subject to a "returned item fee"?? So will this happen to me again? Cause my eaby is also connected with paypal. I think "returned item fee" basically means overdraft, does that require my permission too? Thanks again everyone, cause I am really idiot about finance.
