If I have withdraw to bank, and some of my customer scams me and do chargeback, what happens with the money which withdrawn to my bank? I have read on some discussions at this forum and couldn't get a final answer for this.
Yes, they can take your money after you withdraw it to your bank. If a customer does a chargeback (or wins a Paypal claim against you) they will try to transfer money from your Paypal balance, then your bank, then your credit/debit cards. If you don't have funds in any of those, they will make your Paypal account show a negative balance e.g. -$1000 Then they will pester you to pay off the outstanding balance. Hope that helps!
They don't have access to your bank but your account balance will show negative balance and you have to pay for that to maintain your Paypal account.
If you can dowload to your Bank, you will have set up the Bank details. And yes, they can get it back.
i don't think so , it is a good practice for banks. if banks allowed every one to draw money from any others account, will you create any bank account? No one can withdraw any money from your account without intimating you.
Depends on your country. Here at India, once money deposited in bank account no way for reversal. But still you can't use PayPal unless you pay back the money.
Sorry but they can take money from your account if you have setup banking with them. The results vary also. When you link a bank card also, they can get money that way, even if you change cards, but different banks will respond in different ways to that. Some will say they shouldn't have taken it especially with an old card number, and others will say talk to paypal/ebay. Talking from experience.
