Hello I have sold my banner services to person and he claim chargeback on me after 15 days. I have already withdrawn money to my bank account so my paypal is having negative balance. I want to know can paypal take money back from my bank account? I have added my bank account to transfer but not added my credit card or debit card
Then can you explain what will happen with my negative balance if i wont add balance to it? Will paypal send me legal notice?
No its not possible that paypal can take money back from yoru account because they must need permission to withdraw amount from the bank. Its legally not valid too
It depends on amount though you'll get emails for funding and removing negative balance time to time. DON.
They shouldn't be able to take money out of your bank - if they have I would tell your bank its an unauthorised payment and they will investigate and hopefully get the money back.
They will not take the money from your bank but when you get funds to that account then the negative balance will be equaled.

But the thing with having a negative balance is that your paypal account gets flagged. This could possible lead to a permanent ban on paypal so that you will not ever be able to reactivate or sign up for an account again.
Firstly , better to fill in the paypal account with the required funds to avoid any flagged issues as talked about before. Secondly, Paypal can deduct from an attached credit card if you have already instructed your account to deduct in case of insufficient balance in paypal. in your case cc/ dc do not apply. Thirdly, you will receive notifications to remove your negative balance from paypal time to time. if unsuccessful, a ban can be issued but nothing can be done legally as paypal is a private company.
No... Paypal would not be able to take funds from your bank account... especially so, if you are from India as RBI prevents it any direct access for debits! I would though advise OP to fulfill the obligation if the amount concerned is not too huge and if he intends to use Paypal for a long long while! Dont Worry , Paypal cant do that. It wont take legal actions until its a very huge amount say above 1k$ , if its less than that just relax , you would get Emails regarding that from time to time but just ignore them
Then something must have been wrong with mine because they DID take from my account. Now, granted, it's been a few years ago but they DID take it and although it was not much, it really irritated me. I closed my account with them and have never used them since. I don't know if they've changed it recently, but back when I used it...they did it. I hope they have changed it.
