Hey there, My name is Richard Rick. I'm an eBay seller for years and never had an issue. I typically withdraw my funds to my bank account after a sales. The buyer put a dispute, and eculated to a claim. Is it possible for PayPal to detuct/reverse the money out of my bank? I removed my bank info already.
If you removed your bank info, they will still hold you liable for what you owe. If you do not pay them back, then most likely they will ban your account, then send you on to collections. The money is never yours until the expire period runs its course allowing the buyer to file a dispute, up until that time, he can file a dispute, and paypal will deduct it from your paypal account (if there is any), if not, then they will try to recover by any legal means set by paypal. If you think you are in the right, then fight the claim by any allowable means, prove to them every-way possible that you are right, and they are wrong... still no guarantees, but never give up the fight until you are out of options. They can go into your bank only if you signed off on any such terms, however, i am not really familer if they can or can not dip into your bank account.
Hey there, Thanks for responding to my post. I've been providing proof to PayPal/eBay and they won't offer me a refund. Due to the fact they disputed with PayPal, and there Credit Card. I won't pay the PayPal negative because they received the product. I'm curious to know if PayPal legally can take the funds they transfered to my account back to there system.
Paypal will send your proof of delivery to the bank so you should be good, if they received the item they will have to return for a refund. I don't believe they can take money out of your account, but if you have a withdrawal in progress they can cancel it - my personal experience. Rules may be different in different countries, due to different laws.
