This site http://www.articlebanker.com claims that one can get unlimited backlinks by posting articles on this said site, is this possible.

 

Yes, you can get backlinks by writing articles. You include your link in the resource box. That's your backlink

thats why people use article submissions. to get backlinks and traffic

 

You can, but I wouldn't suggest acquiring links from articles. You should try blog links or something like that. And a service that only provides unique links inside of content.
