Can not install on systems earlier than windows xp x86 service pack 3 ?

Hi Guys,


Just downloaded a tool i bought and i was trying to install it on a computer of mine when i got this error message.

Now i am not a hardware/MS software guru so could someoine please tell me what to do about this.

I fond some notes from Microsoft website : “Customers running Microsoft Dynamics Retail Management System (RMS) are advised to install a hotfix for a Microsoft Dynamics RMS issue prior to installing Windows XP SP3. ”

Maybe you should visit the Microsoft official website to find your answer.

Mmm.. ok, ill wait for the responce of the guys first who created that tool first before i mix up that part of my windows, but i really like your input here.

It is not more clear, Can you tell me what is the error msg and what is your OS?

 

Hi Rajesh, The error message is the same as the name of this thread. I am running a xp system here.

I get the message when installing the software. I get the normal installation screen but when i hit install nothing happens and then after 10 secs i get the error message.

Nothing back from their support btw

What is your service pack ? It is clear that you must have Windows SP 3..

 

Although i am already years and years a IM i don't know sh*t about hardware etc. lolz...

My neighbour came over and laughed his ass off... Indeed... He is going to upgrade the whole bunch later tonight to SP3

OK, i feel a bit dumb now... LOL
