Can my wife and I both have adsense accounts? We are both seperate entities and have different payee names, but the same billing address. Googles policies state: My wife has her own website, but currently my Adsense publisher I.D. is on the ads served to her site. She would like her own account so she can have some fun checking her stats FIFTY TIMES A DAY (Like I do) and get a nice fancy check in her own name.
I don't think she can because they are both on the same IP. Try getting YPN account for her or some other PPC system like exoclick.
You should be able to because banks dont let you cash checks if they aren't in your name. SO I don't think google shouldnt have a problem if they do you can always go to yahoo
Hmmm, I never thought about that. I signed up for adsense not knowing that my husband signed up for an account in his name awhile back for his site. He informed me after I already put a banner on my site, and was excited that I actually had a click the first day I put it on. It would have had to been sometime either last year or in Jan. I had to buy him a new laptop in Jan when his old one decided to die. Now he will have to retrive his password when he gets home. He really doesn't have anyone going to his site, so he doesn't think he has any money in it. He never received a check from google. Now I wonder how long google keeps accounts that don't produce and the owner hasn't checked in a long time.
I guess it should be fine. I suggest send a nice email explaining the situation, i am sure you will get a proper answer rather than one of us confusing you. No one here on DP knows more than Google adsense team..trust me.
I just got this email from google in response to my question: Same billing address, same bank account different payee name is O.K.
it is best that you tell them thats what your doing. that depends on where you live, even in the US. vermont i have no problem cashing a check that i even signed for them. when i lived in arizona, you need the other person there, but they also put your thumb print on the check.
i don't think it's a problem...after all...who know who is your wife...and i'm doing it now...too payee...one address...
I am surprised you got that answer, I asked them last year about my wife and was told no, she needed to have a separate mailing address and bank account. It didn't really matter to us so we never worried after that but I guess it is who answers at Google or they changed the policy.
